The E.C.S. Diocese of Mundri would like to give thanks to God for the successful construction of a diocesan office building. The office was completed in 2008 and was officially opened and dedicated to the Lord by His Grace the Archbishop Daniel Deng on 20th December.

Diocesan Office

The eight room building with borehole and solar power system was completed at a cost of SDG 76,693. Two of the rooms are used by our missionary partners from World Harvest Mission (WHM). The local church members contributed towards construction costs and were assisted by the following partners: WHM from USA , All Saints Church, Patchm, Brighton, St. John's Parish, Birmingham and some other individual friends in the UK . Another donor graciously donated a VSAT and computer terminal system through the E.C.S. provincial office which greatly enhances communication and efficiency of work. The Diocese would like once again to express our sincere gratitude to all those who contributed toward this project. May God bless you all.

Prayer Procession

Our next proposal is the construction of the Bishop's Court (House) designed with five rooms plus external store and kitchen at an estimated cost of $US 49,000. The construction committee has about $15,000 on hand for this project, so additional prayers and financial or material contributions are highly welcomed by the Diocese of Mundri.

We give glory to God for this collaboration and the successful construction of the office building. We know that more important than the building itself is what goes on inside the building: We pray this office will be used effectively by God for the faithful administration of the ministry of the diocese. And more important still is what goes on outside the building: we pary that through the church God will advance his kingdom and bring hope, healing, and new life to the surrounding community.
